Immense contains Sildenafil, a selective and reversible phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide (NO) is released in the corpus cavernosum, which increases cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels. Immense inhibits PDE5, preventing cGMP breakdown, causing smooth muscle relaxation, increased blood inflow, and penile erection. Sildenafil has no effect without sexual stimulation.
